Services & Amenities to Enhance Your Lifestyle

At Saunders House, we know that it is important to keep our residents actively engaged and surrounded by friends and family. That’s why we feel one of the most valuable advantages of living in our community is the abundance of programming, peers and possibilities at every turn.

At Saunders House, there is always something to do and always someone to share the experience with!

Community Amenities

The life enrichment programs at Saunders House have been designed to enhance the lives of our residents. To accommodate the variety of engaging, enriching and entertaining programming we offer, Saunders House features:

  • Recreation areas
  • Lounges
  • Outdoor patio

These are welcoming, inviting places where our residents can gather to participate in activities, enjoy one another’s company and be a part of our community. Additionally, several private areas are available for residents to entertain visitors.

Exceptional Dining

With a reputation for fine cuisine and attention to service, Saunders House offers an outstanding dining experience.

Meals are served in a beautifully appointed dining room where our trained servers take time to assist residents with daily menu choices. Because we know that enjoying delicious food is one of life’s greatest pleasures, a dietitian meets individually with each resident to customize a nutritional plan, focusing on personal tastes and needs.

Intergenerational Program

Saunders House welcomes students of all ages into the community as part of its vibrant intergenerational program. Older adults benefit significantly from the unique opportunity to interact with local students.

Religious Services

Residents of Saunders House have the opportunity to attend religious services in-house, representing a variety of faiths. Many religious holidays are observed and celebrated at our community. All are welcome to participate.

Social Services

Residents at Saunders House receive continued support from our Social Services team. Upon admission, a member of our social services staff meets with each resident and conducts a social history and assessment.

When short-term residents are ready to return home, social services staff helps residents determine the best options for a safe discharge. This may include coordinating services such as home health care, durable medical equipment, community services and support groups.

Social services staff members also assess the needs and desires of each of our long-term residents and their families. All are invited to attend care conferences facilitated by the social services staff to discuss each resident’s progress and personalized care plan.
